Of course, do we really need one more teen-angst drama?

Heh heh, oh yeah, it would be just terrible if they came up with another show like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Oh Kala, we would be giving them FAR TOO MUCH credit to actually come up with another show like Buffy... At least one that they didn't promptly run into the ground by fiddling with it's premise umpteen BILLION times or pre-empt out of existence.

Actually, the point I was making is that Buffy was a teen-angst drama. There ain't no two ways about it. Joss has said so himself ten billion times.

We shouldn't be lamenting the addition of another teen angst drama when the spring-board show for this very discussion was just that.

I got no problems Buffy being a teen-angst drama. It was very well done, well written, good acting, fun and not preachy, interesting character development, etc., etc., and I enjoyed watching it. I also like Smallville (when they can focus on stories that aren't AAL) and Joan of Arcadia (even though her parents irritate the heck out of me most of the time).

And I do lament the addition of another teen-angst drama if it's sole purpose is to give TV viewers another SOAP OPERA to watch. If the networks happen to make a good choice and put something worth watching on, then bully for them and yeah! for us. My point was I don't have much faith in the networks.

Ooooo...now I love my prime time operas. I love Monster-operas (Buffy), Lawyer-operas (Angel), Cop-operas (NYPD Blue), Gay-operas (Queer as Folk) and Space-operas (Firefly). The background is irrelevant to me. Just give me good stories about PEOPLE and their interactions with each other and the setting is irrelevant.

I'm patient, though. Joss will have another brilliant show some day, one that defines the decade just as Buffy did. Just remember that when HILL STREET BLUES was cancelled people were crushed and just knew for sure that Steven Bochco would *never* come up with another cop drama that could ever compare to it.

p.s. I'm also holding out for Diane English to another sitcom. When the *&#@^$*$#^%@* is MURPHY BROWN gonna be on dvd anyway?

I see the problem here! I don't look as those shows as soaps. :)

Remember in"Billy" when Cordelia gave us that beatiful non-cable prime time first of saying, "No,asswipe,I'm here to send you back to hell", about 45 minutes after 7th Heaven,no less?
Anyone else find Angel's words before the final battle amusingly familiar?

I'll be in my bunk.

Don't forget a puppet saying :'ass' and drinking

Hehe

God, I love this episode! I love puppets and just to see a puppet like ep with Angel *___* total bliss.

Ok, the first scene of the ep scared the fua out of me. 2nd the puppets were just plan bad (things they did/say). I don't know why they made Angel's eyebrows that way, but I can only say, just to go with the whole low eyebrow thing.
Oh Oh! The Fred waist hug.

I have mils of those. I love the fighting in this ep.
I kind of which they showed Angel's transformation to puppet more mysterious. Oh well. I don't have much evidence to defend my liking.
