Known for Herman Munster's wife in the Munsters Yvonne DeCarlo passed away at 84. I forget she played Moses wife in the Ten Commandments. Great lady. The smart one in the family.
"Battle of Serenity, Mal. Besides Zoe here, how many-" "I'm talkin at you! How many men in your platoon came out of their alive".

Just watched one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies over the weekend-- John Wayne's McLintock!. She played the housekeeper/cook.
And I can hear her right now, singing " I'm Still Here " from Steven Sondheim's Follies. an almost Firefly song of survival.

She was in a lot of different places over a thirty year span. Glad to see folks remember her.
And McLintock is no guilty pleasure. It was a damn fine film. Where else are ya gonna see John Wayne putting a comical spin on domestic violence?

I'm so sorry to hear this, she was a great actress and was wonderful in Ten Commandments. Also she and Herman made history being the first married couple on TV to sleep in the same bed.
RIP Yvonne. I'll throw a virtual Lilly your way. Sympathies to the family.
If I'm a bitch, then life just got interesting
