I just looked myself at the universal site, and unfortunately I can't open up any further information other than it being on the coming soon list. Still, hope springs eternal.

Well, it being on Universals official [\b] "Coming Soon" list is a great step for the movie and well worth celebrating IMO.

You know there is a real opportunaty here for a clever programer to make a killing on a red "receiver" light that sits in the system tray on our computers... and a button side of the program which Joss could use to call us all "back", lighting those red lights and telling us that the movie is ready. :O)

I think it's great that Universal has put Serenity on their Coming Soon list on their official website. That means they've moved a few more steps towards actually filming and then distributing it!

It certainly seems like another big step in the right direction. If you look at the films also in the list like Meet The Fockers, King Kong, The bourne suprmecy and Wimbledon these are all films that are without a doubt going to get a cinematic release. I think this is pretty big news.
