Hey all

Old Thread is here

EDIT- good Firsties dance Penguin...ok so to ponder. Research says that overall happiness is found in the little moments, not the big amazing things. Do you agree or disagree and why?

Personally I agree. The taste of chocolate. How it feels to lie down when you are exhausted. Knowing the title of the new Harry Potter...all the little bits :)

Little moments, hands down.

The big life changing happy things are there forever - Carson's birth, my wedding day...but the little moments in my life from those events are what I treasure.

Things that add to my enjoyment of life (chocolate, smokie treats, coffee, pets)enhance the overall happiness from the big moments.

I don't have any big amazing moments to compare.

I think this is the closest to first I've ever been. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I think nighttime is dark so you can imagine your fears with less distraction.

Morning All,
It's the little things, but I don't have time to explain. I'll be back late this evening. Bye. Hugs and Kisses to everyone.

Hi, ponderers. It's been a while. I guess I was burned out on pondering for a while.

Anyway figured I should check back in. Seems like there are a lot of new faces around the thread.

As for the current pondering I'd go with most everyone else. It's the little things. If those aren't there then you won't be happy. Of course the little things are the quickest to be forgotten. The big things will stick around in your memory much longer.

Reminds me of the part of Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story when Stu and Stewie are playing the Glad Game (first cut into a fresh piece of construstion paper).

'cause the Roman Gods up to that point were crap. Jeff, the god of biscuits, and Simon, the god of hair-dos.

Ack, I didn't get myspace birthday reminders. Have they stopped doing that?

Anyway...happy birthday Tristan and Johnny!

There is exhilaration and excitement in the big things. There is joy in the little things. A peaceful moment, a fantastic riding lesson, an amazing sunset. I'll take joy almost any day of the week. The little things are the daily reminders that life is good.
