Browncoat1,thank you for the offer of hospitality but you really shouldn't plan anything just on account of me.If ya'll happen to be kickin' back with a few cold ones I'd sure love the company.

I'm heading down to Newport News in a couple of days.Gonna stuff the dogs into the Buick and do the whole thing in one day(thirteen hours from Nashua NH,getting tired just thinkin' about it).I ought to be there by sometime early next week.Likely I'll stay until about the first of March.
My folks are all gone now and it falls on me as the only child to clean out the old homestead and sell it.

It would be great to meet you Sarge and any other VA Browncoats for that matter! Any other 76thers down there?

NaughtyMan, I can relate! Mom died when I was 12, dad went in 2000. It was really weird to be an "orphan" at 32.

Naughtyman, I am in Richmond, but Newport News is only about an hour & 1/2 from here. I would be more than happy to drive down to meet you for dinner & drinks. There are a couple of browncoats that I know who live in the Virginia Beach area which is not far at all from Newport News.
