Checked in with Whedonesque this morning and found a link to a site that had the cover art for BUFFY Season 8 #2. Didn't hit me until I enlarged it and I saw the very detailed picture of two characters I truly adore, and then it happened...tears!!! Yup, every fear I had about not connecting with these comics on an emotional level has been erased! Yes, I'm pathetic. No, I don't care.

Its great that you like the comic so much----but tears is a bit much, especially when its just the cover your looking at. Save the tears for when someone dies(unless its one of the Fox exec's who was involved in cancelling Firefly, then they deserve to die.....joking )or when Firefly is brought back on the air(tears of joy in the latter obviously). Then you can cry all you want.

Just a couple of tears actually...not a waterfall. Couldn't help it--not something I sought out to do (though I am the kind that can cry a bucket just watching Animal Planet), I just miss these characters very much and it simply just happened. I was also in a kind of bad place emotionally, so as usual the Jossverse was very helpful in bringing me out of that!!
