Yeah. this was all over the news. To be honest, i just don't get why people even make jokes like that. This isn't about freedom of speech, it's all about respect for others. It's one thing if you're making a joke about a close friend and the friend finds it funny 'cause he knows you're joking. It's another thing if you're in public and a famous figure, that press will be all over, and say stuff like that. I'm sick of seeing celebraties saying stuff about different races or different religions. Just because someone looks different or believes in something you don't doesn't make it wrong or them inferior. I just don't get it. i know I was raised to respect everyone. But that's just me, I don't care about other people's religion. My view is, if it makes you happy, go for it. Race doesn't matter, it just makes life more interesting. If everyone was the same, life would suck. No diversity.
okay. Wow. this was not meant to be a speech. Sorry, if this makes anyone angry. I'm just disgusted with that kind of stuff, it's kind of like a pet peeve, like swearing every other word. I'm okay, really.
