Good morning all!
*prepares o mug of the Good Stuff*
Yesterday was fun. Had a 300 mile road trip (there and back) to do 5 minutes work.
On the bright side though, I was looking for something for lunch and I pulled into a Wal-Mart Supercenter and walk around a bit to streach my legs. As I got to the electronics section (as I always end up there) a stock person was putting something away in one of the glass casses. Well I told him that he could get me one and now I own a Nintendo Wii! :Happy Dance:
I have yet to even hear of any coming to a store near me and this town in the middle of nowhere had 4 delivered yesterday. I got the last one. they lasted a whole 15 minutes on the shelf.

As it seems I have been lax in my return to the pub since the holidays, here I come!
As it seems that the ponderers seems to be here and not there ('cept NVG and CMH), here I come!
As it seems Captain Morgan and his first mate Vernors have been my drink of choice IRL the past several days, here I come!
As it seems the Forsaken have forsaken even themselves, here I come!
As it seems there be n't any much in the way of photoplay at the moment, here I am!
As it seams (ha, ha) the 76th is fast becoming an all-consuming black hole of costumed activity, here I come!
Oh, and as it seems Lovely Mavs, in an attempt to escape the evil hunters has hidden out here (although I suspect it's easier to find her here than anywhere else, God bless the drunken Irish!)

JQ - to put it bluntly - I am here & no longer pondering becasue I won't play nicely with Rambo the psycho hunter boy.You know me well enough to know this is the first time I've badmouthed anyone or anyhting here,but the pictures were too much.And the people encouraging it disappoint me.And since I can't say anything nice I've removed myself..
I have nothing against hunting but I do have something against misogynistic sociopaths.
Anyway now that that's over...please forgive my rudeness...

Ouch! I'm sorry not to have you there. I have missed seeing you, though I have caught glimpses of you elsewhere. There does appear to be a rift 'twixt the Warriors and the Wiccans. It's the old "duty calls" versus "do no harm" battle. I'm not sure that can ever be mended.
As for my take on the particular instance at hand, hunting is hunting and doing it from a distance where it doesn't feel so bad doesn't make any better. The animal still dies. Regarding the pictures, well I understand how they might be perceived as gross but again is it different from buying a fur coat in the store? I have trouble with that.
Whether there are other mental or emotional issues at work here, I have found that most of us here have at some issues with that, myself included. I do know you well enough to know that you wouldn't badmouth anyone without cause, but I don't know you well enough to know what your particular "issues" might be.
CMH's deployment is Monday so I don't think there will be much time in his daily schedule for posting; you can return if you want.
I am Very Much looking forward to meeting ALL my Browncoat friends in Atlanta. It will be for me the trip of a lifetime. I can release my inner geek and no one will care. Or notice. It's the perfect trip!
