hello there, i own firefly soundtrack and i cant seem to locate one of my favourite tunes, its played from the first episode when serenity runs from the alliance cruiser after stealing the cargo right at the beginning of the episode

If it's the bit of music I'm thinking of (strummed guitar chords followed by wailing fiddle) it's the tail end of 2. Big Bar Fight.

that is exactly the piece, i thought that track was the from the train job hence the title big bar fight, bit of a pain not being in chronological order but thanks for that

today i was pompous and my sister was crazy

They used the same bit of music for the grand entrance/escape from The Train Job so I guess Edmonson figured it worked to just have it there. Personally I'm more annoyed at the lack of The Man They Call Jayne. That really should have made the CD.
