It's like this. I never watched it while it was on the air. I tend to do that. Like with The X-Files, or House. Never got into them until they've been on for a while. Anyway, I come home from school on a break and my best friend tells me to come over. She had just bought the series on DVD, she let me borrow it. I watched it all in one day. I watched it over and over again and as soon as i got to a store and saw the DVD there. I bought it. Bought the movie too. Watched that as soon as i got home. I got so into it. I almost cried when Book died and I yelled at the TV when Wash died. Then my friend told me it was cancelled and I yelled some more. This series was like nothing i've ever seen. Joss Whedon I salute you.

Welcome, DJToes! Haven't seen you before, so not sure if you've had the official greeting yet.

If not, here's a browncoat from my stock of recycled ones. Brushed clean, of course, but a little the worse for wear. If you can't stand anything used, tackle FollowMal, she has the key to the stock of new virtual coats.

We all share your frustration about the lack of new episodes, but if we keep spreading the word it's sure to happen one day. Meantime, it's good to have you holding the line with us.

My story starts the same, but I did catch Firefly on the Sci-Fi channel in the summer of 2005. There were commercials for the movie Serenity, so I was there at the theater on the opening night. It is great to see on the big screen.
