So, for December, Firefly gained nearly 7,000 votes on Bonanza and a bit over 9,000 votes on Xena.
In December, we went from 5th to 3rd place, passing both Farscape and Nikita, and settled into the long task of overtaking Bonanza.

It comes under the catagory of "it can't hurt". It will surely show a dedicated fan base. In addition, there -are- folk who will look at such a poll and say "Hmm, all these folks voting; maybe it is worth a look", and they might go look and (you guessed it!) get hooked.
