i totally agree with you in regards to cordy. she turned out to be my favorite female character on the show. although.. evil fred was pretty kick ass. i cried when she asked wes if she wanted her to lie to him.. then turned into goody fred.

but.. spike will always been my one and only vampire with a soul.

Angel all the way. He was a great character. Flawed , troubled and deeply tormented. May have been a stronger show had they kept it a one man vigilante piece.

I'm going to go with Darla...mainly because her character was the focus of the most intersting storyline of the whole show (the first 2/3s of season 2)...but in season 3 they ruined this character

Second would be Cordelia...she hot, she was great comic relief in the start of the show, and evolved later on but again in Season 4 this character was butchered

my favourite girl, from either buffy or angel was cordelia, for all the reasons other people have said, she grew so much and before she got posessed she was the strongest, kindest and wittiest character around.

but overall it's either wesley or spike, I change depending on mood. they're both sexy and cool and deep, but sometimes I feel like tortured nerd, sometimes I feel like geeky rebel, I like to keep my options open
