Yet another questionnaire being lobbed your way, courtesy of me:

Who would you like to see cast in the Firefly movie? I'm NOT talking about re-casting the main characters; NOT talking about the actors who were in the show. I'm talking about what actor or actress you'd like to see in the movie in some non-TV Firefly role. Say, a smuggler, an ex-Browncoat, an Alliance officer...

My personal picks:

Michael Wincott. Put him in an Alliance uniform, 'cause he'd look dead sexy in that. Put him in a Browncoat uniform, he'd look dead sexy in that. Just put him in the movie! I figure Whedon owns him for this because, while I enjoyed most elements of Alien Ressurrection, I REALLY hated his character's death scene. It was so formulaic. Wincott is a great actor, and he'd do perfectly on a big-screen Firefly.

The actress who played Nina Meyers on "24":Nina was such a great character. I'd love to see the actress who portrayed her do something on Firfly. Maybe a female Alliance officer, perhaps?

Ron Perlman:Because he's pretty cool, too.

Jake Busey:Because he's entertaining, even when he plays a full-blown sociopath. Maybe he could be Wash's brother, or Jayne's cousin, come to think of it.

What are your picks?

Oh, yes, and I need a beta reader for a Firefly fanfiction that I just finished. It's got Blue Hand men. Please?

Mr. T, as Early's father. No, make that Zoe's father.

Ed Harris. I could totally see him occupying our 'verse...Possibly as Mal's father (?).

Scarlett Johansson as YoSafBridge's little sister (think about it. See the resemblance?). Could make for some interesting plot points...or maybe they should save that for the next series, which, owing to the film's dazzling success, will command a much larger budget and attract big-name cameos like a Robert Altman movie...

You know who I'd like to see Walter Koenig you know Mr.Checkov in Star Trek and Mr.Bester in Babylon 5. With Mr. Bester he's proven he can really act. Me I'd just like to see him and I think it would be really cool to see him become a Sci-Fi tradition.Imagine if every Good Sci-Fi show felt the need to have him guest star at least once for good luck. Call me crazy but I would think that was so cool.

I haven't given that any thought, but I *do* know who I would absolutely love to sing the theme song for the movie, though it'll never happen. Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls.

Is it just me, or does Wincott like, get impaled through the chest in EVERY movie he's in ?

Anyhow, my picks ?

Dennis Leary - as the resistance leader who helped Simon set up Rivers rescue, he's SOOOooo good at the "I hate oppressive authority" thing it's just insane.

Brad Dourif - as either one of those blue hand guys, or someone who 'graduated' from whatever they were doing to River at the academy, cause he's creeeepy..

Well, I can't say that it's just you, because that does happen to him alot. But uh, let's see... he gets blown up to smithereens in "Metro", and he gets his neck broken in "The Count of Monte Cristo... and in a few movies, he actually lives to the end of the credits! Can you tell that I've watched alot of his films?

Brad Dourif... another person from "Alien Ressurrection"! Seriously though, that's an excellent choice. Seeing another 'graduate' of River's school would be so...enlightening... maybe that's who the Blue Hand Men are, the Class of [insert year here].

Oh, and I happen to like Brad Dourif as well as Michael Wincott, so I can't argue with your choice there...
