Oh, man, I'm not sure I can do that. This is a HUGE test of my will power vs. my Adam Baldwin obsession. I have a big thing about copyrighted material. Comes with the being married to a writer package. I've never even illegally downloaded a single song.

We'll see how long I last.

Just wondering if anyone caught Adam on Stargate SG1 on Friday night. The episode was part one of "Heroes". Adam played Colonel Dave Dixon, the commander of SG13 on an away mission where they encounter the Goa'uld.

Adam got a bit more air time than I would have thought, and the one liners had me cracking up. It was great to see Adam on the TV again.

I wonder if this Col Dave Dixon will be the character he portrays on Stargate Atlantis or not?

I know Adam was bucking for a part on Atlantis, but I'm not sure whether or not he actually got it.

And yes, I caught the ep. Had its moments, but overall, a bit dryer than I expected. Its something that's been a problem for this entire season----it feels like filler, since there wasn't supposed to be a season 7.

Adam hasn't really said much other than he was trying out for the SG team leader (the one he doubted he would get) & another part. The Dave Dixon character would be a good lead in for Atlantis.

I agree that the episode was pretty dull. I also agree that season 7 has been a bit weaker than the previous 6. It could very well have to do w/ the fact there was not supposed to be a season 7. I wonder how that bodes for season 8.

KALATHENA,
I saw that you wanted to see the SG-1 Adam Baldwin episode(s). I taped them on VHS and will try to see if I can get it copied. I also noticed that you live near Canton, MI since I am in Roseville, MI I know exactly the area you mean. Please send me an e-mail and we can coordinate getting the episode to you.

Anyone heard any news on Adam's spot on Stargate Atlantis? He has not said anything on the official board, but the link for the show calls for a premiere this summer:

I saw him in the 1st episode, but not the second. He was great!

^His role in part 2 was very small. O'Niell leaps down beside him as the Gliders, Alkesh, and Jaffa all hammer the SGC troops in one of the shows' best 45 seconds of combat.

O'Niell: "Dixon, you said there were six Jaffa! Can't you count?!"
Dixon: "The ships didn't arrive until you were already through the Gate!"

There's a bit more, but that's all I can recall from memory. And that's basically his only scene in part 2.
