This is a quote from Ain't It Cool News:-

Liz Craft is a writer on Angel.

"at one time Craft said that joss whedon had plans for a "Buffy/Angel" film - not telemovie - but decided to wait until both series were off the air."

"It would be the one movie re-teaming both characters, angel and buffy. she fielded a few questions about it, but didn't know much. just said wait till both shows are off the air and then joss will probably get something going, a'la firefly."

That would be great. I wonder what Joss would call it? Probably not "Buffy the Vampire Slayer 2" but the name recognition is important too.

BTVS is so long but won't they want that in the title?

A Buffy/Angel movie would be great, & I would definitely be in line to see it on opening weekend.

I think a film that kind of wrapped up both series (at least Angel since it has been cancelled) and perhaps used to springboard the casts into other roles for other shows or provide a spinoff of one series or another.

"May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one."
