Boomer, I actually have a question for you (as our resident leatherworker) when I finish the mail sleeves, I want to finish the shoulder edge in leather and rig a buckle/belt system in the front and back to connect them. I've got some ideas on how to do this, I'm just wondering where you'd reccomend I get the leather from (looking for something supple yet durrable). Thanks in advance.

Evening, all.
Just a quick note...I have "finished" the Second Genreation vest, and am about to go take some pictures of it. I am still trying to figure out how to close it in the front. I'll be asking for ideas.
When I get the pictures taken and uploaded, I am going to go ahead and start another thread. So, I should see all of you in 30 minutes to an hour!
Oh, Boomer, I'm looking forward to seeing how y'all worked it out with the patch...
