Yeah, "Boy Named Sue" was the first thing I thought of when I first saw Firefly and heard that Jayne's name was...well, Jayne. Nice adaptation.

There is a song by Heart called "Allies". Everytime I hear it I can see Mal and Zoe.

I hate Simple Plan with a fiery passion that will burn in my soul for all eternity but... their song "Perfect World" kinda makes me think of Firefly.

I agree with Arcadia 100%!! Nickel Creek ALWAYS reminds me of the 'Verse. If you haven't heard any of their stuff, find it now! The trio is going on indefinite hiatus after next year's tour, so we may not get much new music from 'em.

"66 Sleepers To Summer" by Hope of the States. I have no idea what the song title means, but the lyrics remind me of Mal, and the music reminds me of music that you would hear from the Firefly soundtrack. The song was suggested to me on Launchcast, and I really like it.

This song really reminds me of Jayne, for obvious reasons. The whole Pride & Glory album has a Firefly vibe, but this song in particular really stands out.
