Shiny indeed. There's just some places early on, where his voice is just a tad unsteady. Like I said, quite good, just could be a tad better.

Mightily sweet, Slinger! Much closer to the sweet, simple melancholy which Joss says he originally intended for the piece. Your variations in the chords are lovely, and really capture the longing quality which is in the words.
Personal bias is that a penny whistle would add a nice etherial yet earthy (that was...y) quality.
