Thought I'd introduce myself

I've been pretty much lurking around here for a couple of weeks and I thought it was about time to introduce myself. I hope this is the right place.

My name is Jewel and I live in the Washington DC area and I am thoroughly addicted to Firefly. The Fox execs must lack the most basic imagination to not see they had something special.

I am a relatively new Browncoat. I was only able to catch one episode when it actually aired (Safe). And although I thought it was a pretty cool concept, I was always doing other things on Friday nights and I wasn't able to watch more until the DVD set was released. Now I am extremely hooked.

This is a mighty shiny community you have here. I'm glad to have found my way here.

I was actually greeting the really new browncoat. Sorry for the confusion I caused
