if you wonder why the heck Rich La Bonte is putting the effort into this poll. It seems to be because he does a lot of stuff that he just likes to put out there for people to enjoy (or not...your choice).
If you nose around you'll find free music, free books, free news (!), links to things he's been doing since the 70s. Born in 1946, yes, La Bonte is the age of someone you might expect to vote for Bonanza (I'm only 3 years younger), so please, no more talk about geezers. They are just different from us.
And really, if a Bonanzite (Bonanzer? Bonanzoid?) ever saw Firefly, don't you think the guns and horses might just get them hooked?

Yes, it has. On October 9, 2006 Lexx gained 2,134 votes. On October 10, 2006 Lexx lost 1,856 votes . They kept more than their average number of votes, but not near what they had apparently gained.
I do not know what kind of vote verification process is used by RichLabonte.net, but it appears that numbers that are too far out draw attention, and if fraud is detected it is corrected.

I never noticed such thing. Before the change we used to get 150, 160 votes per day, but apparently there were fans using script (without the big group knowing!) Our record was 292 in a day, never more. Now after the change we perform even worse.

This is just so great, I can't stop grinning. I knew if we got the word out, we'd gain significantly.
I'll also support Lexx. I kind of liked the story, though it was supremely weird.
Now, we must gather force for the 1st. The e-mail I sent to the Captain have not yet been read by him, so I don't know if we can expect too much help from that quarter.
We have to spread the word ourselves, even among non-browncoats. If anyone owes you a favour, now's the time to collect.

That's about the time I started tracking votes for the top 9 shows. Perhaps I miskeyed Lexx's entry for the 'big gain' day & noted it as a hit when I keyed the proper number the following day.
More recently whenever there's been a big jump in the numbers I've become rather OCD about making sure I didn't miss something.
