Oh dear, can't believe I'm getting involved in picture threads!

But, here are my little stubby toes:

and here's the henna tatto I drew on the back of my hand one day when I got bored.

Well.... now let me see here, dear.

The assumption that I couldn't afford you financially, assuming you are indeed a gold-digger because I have no evidence to the contrary as of yet, is founded because of the picture a while back of me standing next to my beautiful beat up 7 year old Cavalier. I'm not a poor man, but I don't see myself in a McMansion with a Hummer any time soon.

That being said, I'm curious why would you assume that I couldn't "afford" you in any other way your heart desires?

Just a word of advice: You probably shouldn't be so quick to judge those around you, particularly admirers... you may have already missed out on some great oppurtunities at happiness.

You just keep playing hard to get though. It suits you.

PS.... these magic hands pay dividends in foot massages. It must be all that guitar playing.

Wow!... hehe. Looks like my fingers got me in trouble again. Wasn't any jabs there. Sorry for gettin' under ya skin girl.

Hope you don't mind that I didn't read your post too much because I surly didn't mean what you thought I did, and I don't think that if you knew that then you wouldn't have said what you did. You're right... I'm probably an a-hole.

My bad. Sorry again. Hope we can still be internet buddies.

COME ONNNNNNNNNNN.

Alright. I'm sorry. Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry. Don't be mad at me. I don't like it when people are mad at me. Internet.... not the best medium for human interaction sometimes. If I said some things that I shouldn't have, or inferred or implyed some things that I shouldn't have then again I'm sorry.

There's nothing more that I can say.

Glad to see you joining in, CallMeSerenity And your skirt there is very shiny.

Just checking to see if you're still mad at me. Guess you are. Hope you had a good day. I'm going to go take a ride in my beat up Cavailier and cry now because you're not talking to me talking to me.

I have no fucking idea how to talk to you.

Sounds to me like you do!

You're the one who said, and I quote:
"By the way... I'm working on my financial inadequacies. As soon as I figure out how this guy was able to do this, I could afford 4 of you."
Just up a ways. Posted by you, 6ixStringJack. I never once said that you didn't earn enough money for me, which is why I responded to that statement the way I did (and now I apparently can’t kid around without completely over-explaining every nuance of my word choice). You're the one who jumped straight into finances because of what… you apparently once posted a picture of your car? Shit, I drive a 12 year old piece of shit salvaged Jeep, what the fuck do I care how old your car is? But suddenly I’m the one making assumptions about you? You’ve somehow managed to twist around everything I’ve said, and I am clueless about the provocation.

I never give two shits, yet here you did and a fuck. (First one wasn't enough, eh...)

Once again, you're making some strange leap here. I am honestly not aware of any “admirers,”

Hello? Remember me?

and maybe I’m not reading the same thread you are, but I never judged you or anyone else in any negative or derogatory way. You’ve assumed that I’m a gold digger, you’ve assumed that I don’t already have happiness, and by the tone of your post, it seems like you’re also assuming that I was attacking you in some way.

Exactly how much Irish are you? I'm guessing that DesktopHippie's genes would bow down to yours...

You expect me to take a proposal of marriage seriously here? I thought we were all kidding around, but I guess there must be some unwritten crime to try to joke around with you.

Um, I really don't think he was expecting the proposal to be taken seriously...I'm surprised you actually engaged with him in this dialog let alone as a life partner. I haven't measured the man completely yet, so I'll withhold judgment. For now. But I must say HK, the way you came out swinging Wolverine-style was--ahem--very exciting. I look forward to the D*C Broad Brawl all the more now.

Sorry to bring this into your thread, PhoenixRose.

And just when I might possibly think you lost all sense of decorum, you pivot on you heel (I'm thinking of the first (non-River) set of boots here), and address our hostess with a quiet grace not oft displayed in these times. I have no fucking idea how to talk to you. I yet I enable myself.

The whole thing reminded me of the PhoenixRose/ChrisMoorhead exchange of a few months ago. Slightly different topic, but neither of you could be considered damsels in distress. You handled yourselves admirably. Chris still can get under the skin of some people, but many of us have figured out he's not all bad; he's frank an

Ohhh, magdalena, your ring is the same as one of mine that I lost last year and I am now saddened because I loved that one... of course, I love all of my silver rings that I've lost, but that was my 2nd most recent loss!
