Sorry about the show you wanted. I do a DVD "recording".

Ah I almost forgot about that song! I'll definately get it for ya tomorrow, I love how there's this big gun battle with this happy celtic music playing lol. Also, I'll get the extended end credits theme off of the pilot episode.

What's this program called? I've been looking all over the place for a free Windows tool to capture images and sound bites from DVD, to no avail.

Hey, Sneaker...Any chance of you being able to capture and link the theme music from "Navy NCIS"? I love the psuedo-underground club beat, but I can't find it anywhere!

Now direct recordings of TV broadcasts, I can help you with. I'll try to get that this week... [sets up various cables]

Ok so here's my request. I travel frequently an I like to listen to books on CD. So If you can rip the audio from dvd for these mp3's then could you rip the entire episode to listen to like an old time radio show. I'll even offer $$ for the effort & materials. if interested say the word. I still have an old computer and it wont rip dvd's or record direct audio from the dvd player. but mp3 can be converted to wav. anyway let me know.

Well, here's the thing. I *can* do it, but I would never accept money for it.

I do warn you, the files would be HUGE.. but I could do it. The way I record these is using a complete recorder, so one day when I watch the episode I'll leave it on record.

the problem is more with server, since I get mine for free I don't want to clog it with larger files. 2 or 3 minute mp3's is one thing, but an entire episode is something else... do you have a way in which I could send them to you?

Oh yeah that's what I mean. I'll send you a set of blank cd's & you drop the mp3's on there. The I'll gladly help with shipping cost or materials. But i would so appreciate it. couple questions.

1. the tracks listed in the postings above are they just music only? (excluding the ff theme of course)

2. where are you?

& here's my e-mail address roberth@lowrance.com

I did what you're talking about only in the most low tech way possible, I put a tape recorder next to our sound system's primary speaker and just let it roll. One episode fits perfectly on one side of a 90 minute audio cassette. The sound is not perfect but pretty damn good. I did investigate ripping the audio from DVD to CD and there is software out there that will do it but it costs around 30.00. I am happy enough with what I've got so I never went any further with it. If you or anybody else is interested I'll see if I can find the link to that software again.

I was wondering if you had ripped the music to the scene where Inara is giving herself a sponge bath? I love that music! Thanks for the MP3s!
