Browncoat Banners (Info and Enlistment)

Hi Everybody!
As some of you will know, I am setting up a group called "Browncoat Banners". This group will design and make Banners (still or Flash) for those who request them.
I am currently making a Logo and Banner for the company lol.
Here is my first logo idea:
The Banner is not yet finished but is pretty big, I am hoping to resize it and maybe change the shape more.
I have currently wizzed through some site templates, here are two which caught my eye.

I will also make a forums for the group and links back to this site and any other Serenity and Firefly fan sites.
I am thinking of using Freewebs.com they not let me down yet, but if anyone knows any other(free) hosting sites then please let me know.
Also I will be using phpbb forums. (I have experience in admining one or two already)
But there is one thing I have not yes mentioned, oh yet a team.
I will be needing a Team, maybe some who are good, active, loyal and regular admins for forums and maybe updated the site. I will also need designers to help make the banners, I dont know anything about flash so anyone who is good at flash banners splease step forwards.

Ok, well which above site templates do you prefere the looks of?
(If we become succesful maybe a proper site could be intoduced and not just a template.)

My own website is hosted through geocities

Geocities is free, but doesn't come with a lot of space. Google also offer free web hosting to those with a gmail account. In true google fashion it comes with acres of room to store files.
Since altering templates in google is fiddly I cheat. I host my site through geocities and link my images from google. It means I can use my basic HTML skills to alter my website when I need to.
I'd be happy to join your team too, but my net access is pretty patchy so I'm not much good for working to deadlines. Everyone's more than welcome to use banners from my site though - just don't hotlink or you'll crash it on me!

Well, I'll be gone for the next 3 months or more and internet access after hat will be sketchy. Also, I have no clue how to make banners and all my website skills are amateur at best... best I'd love to help out if I can, maybe learn a trick here or there.
If I'm lucky eventually I'll know enough to take a bigger role, although my final goal is to be worshipped as a god by subjugating the human race... but that is for another thread.
And if someday on some little piss-ant moon/My hand is a little too slow, or my aim a little bit off/At least I’ll go down fighting, not lying abed surrounded by quacks - "Sir Warrick" by Geezer

We can start a training programe, those who wish to learn more Graphic Design skills or brush up on them.

Oh, and I like the second template better... I like how the menu is on the right, nice and refreshing from the left-sided menus.
