Been watching the Firefly Series again, noticed something interesting this time.

With the western theme, there is quite a peck of gun-play. Which episode has no firing of guns?

Alliance wave stun guns count in this question.

Okay, it's late and I'm super tired but I'm going to take a stab at this and say SHINDIG. Because we let my 6-yr-old watch that episode and I can't imagine I'd let him see it if it had the standard Firefly gunplay. There were plenty of guns shown but none fired. Just a good old-fashioned sword duel, right?

I think it was Shindig, too. Was that the only one?

I'm gonna go with Ariel.

Gotta be Shindig. In Ariel, they fire the Alliance disruptor rifles.

There's two kinds of people in this world: those with loaded guns, and those who dig.
Now DIG.

what about Bushwacked? I know Jayne gets suprised, and the the Reaver dude gets strangled, but no actual firearm is shot,

well except the huge missile launcher at the end...

Does an Alliance Cruiser Missile Launcher count as well?

Well, in Bushwacked the survivor/Reaver does get shot by Jayne, which is why he's bleeding when Mal finds him in the vent. The gun play isn't shown but it is heard.

So I'd go with Shindig.

I'm thinking we'll rise again!

I'm going with Shindig as well, but I had another thought. Not common for me to have 2 whole thoughts before coffee, so it may be a stinker. Are there any shots fired in Objects in Space?

Shindig it is.

Another question.

Name which episode(s) where no one on the crew is shot or wounded. Hint, in Ariel, Jayne is wounded three times, by River with a kitchen knife, once by the Alliance with a pulse gun and also by Mal with a wrench, so it would not be in the list.
