Who's voice is it at the very end of Serenity?

The voice says "What was that?" as something flies off the back of the ship. It sounds like Wash's voice. I just watched Serenity again and played it back twice. Guess it could have been Simon but he doesn't seem to pay too much attention to those things.
"Hell with this. I want to live!"

No problem. Would have been cool if it were Wash, wouldn't it?
*sigh*
But it sounded the same as Mal saying it at the beginning, so I'm fair certain it was him.

Yeah, it was Mal. As PheonixRose said, it's like the same way he said it at the beginning of the movie when the thing falls off.

It would have been interesting if it was Wash, in a Star Treky Wrath Of Kahny way.
Nope.
Better that it was Mal.

Well, let's see. There are only two people in the cockpit who could have seen it. Mal, and River. That surely wasn't River's voice. ;)

I work in a warehouse at a coal mine and sometimes its soooo boring I have upwards of 10 hours of downtime a day. So I came here and was amazed that other people have the same passion for this amazing show that I do.
So I read the forums and came across this post and had to hear for myself when I got home from work.
I gotta tell ya, after replaying it about a gazillion times, it sounds like Wash...could be wrong, I am a coal miner and partly deaf, but it did sound like him.
