mornin' Forsaken, and mornin' Penguin.
I had some Goldfish that had little penguin shaped pieces in it, and I meant to get a picture, but my son ate them all before I got a chance to. I think it was a promotion for one of the Penguin movies or something. Maybe I can find some more soon.

Man, it seems the life expectancy of these threads get longer as that of the Imponderables get shorter. Makes sense though.
I think we're all in a more pensive mood right now. I also think the pendulum will swing back this way. I think it all goes back to the Almond Joy vs. Mounds addage (pun intended, but by accident if that makes any sense).

Howdy all!
I've been away for a bit, and missed all of my FORSAKEN friends here, but it was worth it...
I've made my pilgrimage at last!!!
While in London we did a whirlwind tour of everything we wanted to see... the Royal Gardens at Kew, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, the Roman ruins at Bath (where I did climb up on Salsbury Hill where I could see the city lights, but unfortunately no eagle flew out of the night), and just about every other famous place that we could think of.
We stayed near Paddington Station right next to Hyde Park and rode the Tube and double-decker busses all over the city. By the end of our trip we'd actually learned the city well enough to give directions to a few other tourists that had just arrived. 
Jet lag was a bitch the first day, but we got used to it very quickly, and now we're trying desperately to get back onto EST. *yawn*
I'm back at work so I can't stay long, but I'll be back to check in soon...

If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)

Hey, PaganPaul, we did miss you. Nice to know that you were on a great trip. We were talking about family history in one of the Imponderable threads. I mentioned that my family came from a small village between the Roman ruins of Bath and Stonehenge. Then here you post pics from my ancestoral homeland. 
It looks like it was a fun trip.
