You are cordially invited to the FIREFLYFANS.NET FIREFLY PREMIERE PARTY at:

server: irc.fireflyfans.net (port 6667)
channel: #firefly
time: 9:00pm PST

We recommend that you use mIRC as your IRC client. But if not, Chatzilla or whatever you're comfortable with is fine, or use the java applet that we have here on the site.

That's what I was going to ask. So when is it, H-Man?

I know what I'm bringing...

One giant keg of Kokanee Gold!

Officially 9:00 PST, at least by then the entire nation would have seen it. Though, it means midnight for those on the East Coast.

So, really, come whenever you all want. There's enough food and drinks to go around.

Just as an asside: I can't seem to get the java applet on the site to work. I always get a "Exception: java.lang. ClassNotFound Exception: M.class" message. Of course I won't be on this particular computer Friday anyways...

"It looks like a great adventure...That's what it is; that's what it feels like. When I saw the pilot, it was really engaging. It was exciting. It was unusual. It threw me off every now and then. I think people will be grabbed by it." - Ron Glass, on the pilot, during an interview with the Indianapolis Star

About that exception error:

There's a conflict between the JRE and the one in your browser. You need to go to the control panel and bring up your Java Control Panel and disable the browser boxes.

Looks something like this:

I've been lurking long enough; guess it's time
to say "hi" --- downloaded my mirc and I'm
bringing the coffee and Tia Maria (for those of us who are up late tonight!) I'm not very good
at this chat stuff so I'll warn you all ahead of time!! Just hope the computer is free--too many
people around my house wanting to get on......
hope to see everyone.

Well, just because I've been the prodigal of this group for the past month and a half doesn't mean I'm not showing up for the festivities!

I'll bring the Grey Goose L'Orange, Grand Ma, limes and cranberry juice...

And for those of you whose mouths aren't watering yet...

This means Cosmos!

(Cosmopolitans, that is... ;) )
