Welcome Abbiex. Every new browncoat is another small success for quality over convention.
Can I make a request? Some of us on this board (and I'm a relative newbie myself) are old bastards - I'm talking well over 30 here - and we find txtmsg language really, REAlly, REALLY slow to read.
I understand that when txting (which I do sometimes do) you have limited characters per message and you sometimes have to hit a key three or four times to get the character you want. For that reason txt makes sense. Same with instant msging where you want to get your msg sent (pause for irony) instantly.
However, I'd like to request that on a bulletin board like this one, where you probably have a full keyboard, it would be more courteous to us gereatrics if you typed whole words.
I'm not trying to impose anything here but I'd take it as a kindness if you did.
