I thought I remember reading or hearing somewhere that the details about the "Summer!" thing are as follows:
The scene required a long camera shot with several moves and lines of actors' dialog and when it finally came to Summer she messed up. I guess this happened a couple of times and the whole long shot was ruined because they wanted it in one take. I'm sure with Nathan poking fun at you, it isn't easy to get your lines right. But then, as said earlier, it just became a running joke when the actors flubbed their lines.
I love when Summer messes up with the choking Simon line and Sean just looks at the camera and shakes his head. Serenity...Greatest. Outtakes. Ever.

"But you sleep like a ghost with me
It's as simple as that
So tell me I'm mad
Roll me up and breathe me in
Come to my madness
My opium den
Come to my madness
Make sense of it again."

Don't forget how they called Sean "The Bod". I'm pretty sure that happened after the famous shirtless scene in "Objects in Space" but I'm not totally positive.

I heard Nathan on the commmentary somewhere saying something about Alan Tudyk being awkward or clumsy, not moving well or not hitting his marks. Sounded like another running joke...
Yeah, he said that he often knew the "essences" of his lines...and then also that when he didn't know the Chinese that he would just make up words and see if anyone noticesd.

I'd forgot this one. just remembered when I posted it on another thread.
Somebody in the office, staff, behind the camera, Tim or the stunt director or one of the designers or coordinators, had a thing about chickens-- scared of 'em, hates 'em, so they threw chickens in whenever they could just to jerk on his chain...
