Eloisa- don't fret:) At least you've not flashed anyone as I have and hey it's ok I've forgotten important undergarments too HUGS I once forgot panties while wearing a skirt, but that was because it was cold and I'd put them to warm on the heater and then dashed out and forgotten and...I shall stop talking now, since between this and the whole CMH and his jammies thing I am truly creating the impression that I was released from captivity only seconds ago and have no real concept of appropriate ( which I do, it's just I have few, if any, boundaries)

Um, I'm just gonna let this one pass quietly by and wait for someone else to carry on. (Although I believe the appropriate thing to do, Miss Scarlet, is to drop your handkerchief, not your underthings...)

Yep, it was like one of those dreams, especially in that I noticed while halfway to the train station, in almost exactly the spot where I always realise my illusory problem in a bad dream. Except my *bad dreams* about that are always WAY more embarrassing, as in I tend to have apparently forgotten to put anything on below the waist, and this was just a little startling. (And, dear Lord, annoying. The girlies tend to ache when they've been cooped up in a bra all day, but my upper back hurts when they've been out playing around instead, and I find it a lot harder to breathe as they tend to weigh my chest down. I swear I can't win.)

BTW, amusing = listening to men talk about their cricket/fencing boxes, including several sizing issues and all the terrible things that happen when they aren't used (I once saw a guy catch himself in his zip fly... it was too painful just to pull off; he had to pour soap over it first), and a snippet from a male horse rider who was insistent that for a bloke to ride in boxers instead of briefs was to be unable to sit down for a week afterwards.

All my close friends have always been female. I always put it down as not "clicking" with men due to a mix of no better than average looks and occasional alpha-female attitude, but as I'm "only" 26 (and a half... today... I feel old), there have been issues of differing levels of maturity between men and women for most of the relevant time period. When you're trying to have a decent conversation and the men are alternately competing to down their beer the fastest and trying to set fire to their farts, you tend to clump with women.

*hugs MsG back* Double-posted to say that I have done that exact same thing too. In my defence, I was nine or ten. On the prosecution side, I was going to church at the time...

Oh, no. That's just a bad idea. The wedding tackle must be properly contained or you may not being doing too much fishing for awhile.

As for exposing myself. I alternate between it being no big deal and embarrassment. I will readily change with the curtains open if bra and panties will stay on (and the panties are of a full butted variety...and not a thong). I figure a bra and panties is equivalent to a bikini, so what's the big deal? However, my exception to that rule is at night or early morning. I don't like the idea of someone watching me and me not knowing it. That's creepy. Actually, I don't like the idea of someone "watching" at anytime, but if they just happen to be walking by and catch a glimpse, more power to them.

Let's see, I think I said before that I used to have more male friends than female...then they all got married and were no longer allowed to be my friends because I was single. I think if I had been married it wouldn't have been an issue. Now most of my friends are women, which may be why I don't mind being alone. We women certainly can be difficult to be friends with.

Why is this such a common dream for everyone? Seems to me the answer to your aches and pains might be to bind them in the morning and let them roam in the afternoon. The other way ‘round would work also but I think in your case it might be ill-advised. If allowed to be at ease in the morning, I think the chances would be greater that you forget your equipment more often, since you’d leave the house not expecting any support. On the other hand, trussing them up in the middle of the day might cause them to protest at the sudden squeeze, downward gravity being different than reclined gravity. But not having any (making me a shoe-in for one of CMH’s pals) I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about. I just don’t like aches.

Should we even ask how it came about that you were in a position (or in position, or imposition) to see a guy get “caught”?

By adding “and a half” makes you younger than you think. I’m 46 (and three quarters if you must know the rest), and I generally feel “young”. I also feel “dementia” but I’ve been like that since childhood. The maturity issue is probably still relevant at your age, poor thing, although if guzzling and backfiring is all the boys you know do, I suggest perhaps a better quality tavern or dormatorium. Not saying that the company of women is unwelcome. I myself have always been comfortable around them conversationally if not romantically.

I completely agree. When I was somewhere between 16 and 19 I washed my car in shorts and a bra. I figured that the bra covered more than most bikini tops do, so I didn't see a problem. Of course when I went swimming in a public place in shorts and a bra it was because my friend was jumping in with only a Tshirt and panties...and I couldn't let her be more adventurous than me...or something. Errrrr....

Gee all this talk about undergarments has me a little....uh....nevermind.

As for male/female friends, it seems I have more female friends than male. As for why this is, I'm not so sure. With the guys I used to hang out with there was too much talk regarding to competition - who could do this or that better, who had the most of this or that - and so on. It gets old after a while. With females I feel I can just be myself and they seem to appreciate it more. I don't feel like I have to put up some kind of image (tough guy, jock, etc).

The odd thing is, in person I even have trouble talking to women because I'm a bit shy/quiet in person but in regard to online, it seems I get along with more women than men. Of course, there have been exceptions.
