It WAS you!!! Chasing me when I went to leave the board! As for why you chased me, I don't know! I thought I was getting mugged again. Come to think of it... you were yelling about someone teasing you... and handling something...

That's a good ponder MSG. Like Tristan says, I'd want to be able to share the joke, so some similarities at least would help. I know I'd get very bored very quickly if my significant other only enjoyed crude, gross out toilet humour. That's never done much for me.

Yay! Ms G got her photobucket up!
Humor? Yes, it's good to find the same kinds of things funny. I've also found that it's best not to talk about it too much and just laugh. I've been with people who would laugh and then go "Oh that was so funny because..." and it kind of spoils the moment. Does that make sense?
I have a wide and varied sense of humor, I like lots of different things. I think dry wit is my favorite, but I also like Kevin Smith movies, so...

MsG- Thanks for posting those pics- I love seeing toddlers. Makes me kind of whistful for the old days, when Tidbit was that age. Then, I invariably start thinking "Gee I'd like to have another child!"

*slaps self hard*

Whew. That was a close one.

-Sense of humor is vital to a healthy relationship. I don't think it has to be similar, just compatible. Husband & I laugh all the time. I don't think I could be with someone with little or no sense of humor. Things get pretty silly in my house sometimes and I wouln't have it any other way.

I agree with you Mavourneen - I love seeing toddlers too! I don't have a tidbit but when you spend time with your friends' kids it can make you a bit broody. I find offering to look after them helps helps! After a few hours of uninterrupted time with a toddler you want to hand them back to their parents! I think babysitting wild toddlers is a must for any would-be parent. They should have babysitting classes in schools.

*watches to see if Mavourneen will start slapping herself again*

Hey here's a new ponder. Most people say sense of humor is most important ( or near the top) in a mate...so do you have to have similar senses of humor( that seems incorrect grammatically, but I'm not sure how to fix it) or is any sense of humor ok???

I loooove similar sense of humor. It is one of the most fun personality traits a girl can have IMO. Not that it would make the deal...but it could break the deal. If that makes any sense.

*grins at her Mei Mei* yeah - a sense of humour is certainly a good way to connect... and it shouldn't require explaination either!

Good 'ponderable MsG!! And I just want to kiss and cuddle and gobble up those delicious little babies - they are so adorable!!

DeskTopHippie yes... yes... she is so clever and creative and generous and beautiful and very pretty and... ummm... has a large bossom too... I still say it's the nicest birthday present besides my Firefly DVDs that I received this year!! And I do hope you are feeling so much better soon!!

Tristan... qing ren... why does that not surprise me at all! Oh and now I know why you enjoy sewing so much! ...bet that keep you up late too...?

Oh - and LittleAlbatross29 asked me to let you all know that she might not be about much for a couple of days - but she loves you all and will miss pondering and drinking her margharitas in the pub... (& I say "Everyone send her love and hugs and terrific vibes please!! ...coz we'll miss her too!")

I am going to bed so I will just say goodnight (no kisses tonight - I don't want to get DTH's cold) and see you all tomorrow!

I love toddlers...someone ELSE'S toddlers. They are a wonderful, inquisitive, lovable nightmare.

Mine is growing up way too fast. It's only when I feel that strong Uterine pull that the slapping begins.
