Well the blog didn't seem to work so here is a thread:

To all my friends out there in the Firefly world,,,,I’m sorry I’ve been Missing In Action, but I had a lot of issues to deal with in my life that I just needed to escape a bit to get my head together. So many things in my life have happened to cause me distress and I hope you all understand that I had to do what I had to do to survive and try to organize my life once again.

I wasn’t sure if I’d ever return to the site. A decision I’m not sure was for the best. I have kept in touch with a few peeps and well, I have to say, although I called YOU my friends, I never knew that you all called me a friend as well and how much you all really do care for me. I have gotten notes from some saying folk have been asking for me and well THANK YOU ALL!! You know who you are. *smiles* I was being selfish in leaving the way I did,,,nor did I act like a friend at all. Uncaring of others feelings and just worrying about mine, Selfish!! I apologize.

I didn’t realize that in leaving the site that I cherish, would cause so many questions from peeps that care about me in the long run. I had no idea the extent of how much YOU all considered me a friend and for that I APOLOGIZE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I will understand if I’m not accepted back as freely as I departed.

Most of you know that I’m divorcing and well I’ve since moved out of my house. I’m living with a non-stop smoker, bachelor cousin, who generously opened his doors to me knowing full well that I could not even pay him rent until my house is sold. He is very neat and is unconsciously caring to woman and leaves the toilet seat down and the sink is always wiped clean and dry. Everything in the house pretty much stays in order, so for me, it is just that deep down girly clean the apartment needs.

Blog One: All is ok,,,challenging..To say the least....moved in on Friday, no heat or hot water, got hot water Friday night....At least I got my internet connection!! Of course, this past weekend had to be the coldest so far here in New England. I stayed wrapped in an electric blanket and borrowed an electric heater, lit as many candles as I could and tried to stay warm…It seemed to work cause when I left my room to venture through the artic to the bathroom, upon re-entering my room, it seemed warm…*smiles* Didn’t get much done in the house, cause every time I moved I got so cold I had to go back to the bedroom…didn’t do much of anything all weekend.

Mon: I finally got heat...YAY,,,thank god... Don't know if I could have taken another day of no heat. It has been really challenging finding my way to the bathroom, to only be cold in there, turn on the shower for hot water,,,,warm for a bit then back into the cold. LOL If anything, this has been an adventure.

Since I had heat I decided to put my room together a bit and unpack some boxes....geee, my wardrobe looks sad...never really gave it a thought before but my clothes look so much different in this environment. LOL I lost track of time unpacking and was 11:00 by the time I stopped so I just headed off to bed. Funny, been sleeping real well. Even the first night. Usually when I'm in a strange place takes me days to get used to the area, then you leave. But, nope.....out like a light. So that is real good. I think the pressure's of my old life have been lifted a bit and, have gone somewhat.

Tus morn: I have to get myself a mirror for my bedroom so I can do my hair without trying to be Houdini and run back to the bathroom to see what it looks like in between drying sections,,,,there is no outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer so been really comical...Then, I head back to the bathroom to put on what little makeup I wear...too funny...But,,,I got to up, the heat was on and was nice and toasty in there when I was getting ready. I was, uh, on the road at 6:45. I should have looked at the clock before I left...LOL,,,stopped at Dunkin and Donuts for a coffee to kill some time so I wasn't at work by 6:50. LOL. I used to live 48 mil

Lol sweetie is good to know your good, though i thought i convayed my thinking you as a friend in your poem.... Its good to know your well and i have to say having experenced many the problem you described (my parents where never well off and we some times when i was a child we lived with other people) that none of that stuff is fun, but learning how to solve those problems or dealing with is what is fun, It makes life that much more interesting. Also i would love to point out how much what you said sounded like under the tuscan sun!!! Heres something that might help... start writing a journal. Trust me when your welling to write and think about stuff they help.

Flywithmecaptn, we may have chatted in the past a few times here and there...I just got through a divorce, so if you need to talk to someone outside your sphere of RL friends, please feel free to email me: tristan71@cableone.net
I'm a good listener and can probably make you laugh every now and then if you need it.
I'm glad you are back with us!

Captn.

Sometimes we all need to be "Somewhere Else"

"But you sleep like a ghost with me
It's as simple as that
So tell me I'm mad
Roll me up and breathe me in
Come to my madness
My opium den
Come to my madness
Make sense of it again."

Hi Fly! I'm sending happy, warm, sun-shiny thoughts in your general direction. Wishing the best for you and because I'm weird, I wrote you a poem. It's just so you know, I'm still flying with you.

Quote:

Dark walls caved in
My spirit crushed and torn
Lost friends, lost hope
Lonely and forlorn.

But words of life from cross the 'verse
Are flooding to my ears.
Unexpected friends come round
And wipe away my tears.

They held me up, though I should fall.
They said they'd see me through it all.
And now I know at beck and call
They'll shield me from my fear.
My family? It is here!

hello my cappy!!

I'm so glad to hear from you. I'm sorry I haven't been around. I'm working the late shift at my new job now. But I'll try and be better for now on.

Don't ever think you are unwelcome to be back. We all love you! We'd love to see our captain grace us with her presence again. I may even go on FFF.chat to talk to ya!

I hope to hear from you again!

XOXO

O.O

CAPPY!

Glad to hear that everything is okay in your world. I tried to contact you via the yahoo address, unaware that it had been cancelled.

It is great to hear that you are okay. (I am repeating myself a wee bit here, but it really is true.) The chat has been a different place without your presence.

You soldier on girl. Keep that chin up! I hope that any unresolved issues (moving house etc) are fixed, and soon. We will hold until you get back!

You are and will remain a good friend, to myself and to a lot of folk on here.

It is so good to see you and know that you are hanging in there. How could you even think for a second that we wouldn't want to have you back? Silly Captn! I think You'll find that there are many Browncoats who will be happy to see you and relieved to know that you are ok. Welcome back!
