I voted a few hours ago and want to remind my fellow Americans that a vote for a Democrat is a vote for the values of John Kerry, who thinks that the men and women serving in Iraq are stupid. I'll let you make up your own mind on who the majority of U.S servicemen and servicewomen support.

I voted for republicans, but not because john kerry is an idiot. He wasn't running. Democrats annoyed me with their overcampaigning and their complete failure to produce a workable plan that would attact businesses, promote peace and prosperity and salvage my remaining civil liberties. The main message I got from democrats this election was:
Give us the Ring of Power... We wants IT!

You voted REPUBLICAN because they are your DEFAULT? THAT's a good reason ! 
Now for a serious question - you know that republicans have serious ethics problems. Even being a majority in both houses with a republican president and the power to hold or withold hearings was not enough to save a large number of republicans from prosecution - and conviction. Why do you continue to support the den of thieves?

I voted. The place was emtpy. 1 other lady voted while I was there. It took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I voted for 4 Libertarians, 1 Democrat, and a handful of Republicans.
It's funny to hear of all these problems across the country that some are having at the polling places. Voting was already easy, but now w/ these touchscreen machines, a turnip could do it. If you've ever successfully used an ATM, you're overqualified to vote. It's absurdly simple.
People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

Just got back from the registrar's office. I'm a permanent absentee voter but I like to drop off my ballot on the day of the election. Helps me get a tiny feel for the general level of excitement. I happened to hit the place during the lunch hour and they were doing a very steady business.
Also, I'm pretty sure I just made the cutting room floor. On my way out the door a reporter from the local news station asked me if the mayor's race had increased my desire to vote in this election. When I told him we live in an unincorporated area and don't get to vote in that race he immediately stopped recording and walked away. Does that count against my fifteen minutes?
