Sahara...Army of Darkness was more gory. I loathe gore and so I had my friend along with me when I saw Slither in the theater--she let's me know when icky stuff is over and is safe to look again--and I actually saw everything.

I don't care for gratuitous gore, never go to
chainsaw or slasher movies, but went to the

Thank goodness! There *is* gory stuff, but the
main elements I noticed were latex and slime.

Early on in the movie, I think the school crossing scene, there's a shot of Nathan looking towards his cop car looking *really* down. I could hear him thinking "I used to captain a spaceship. Now I drive a cop car. Gorramit, I'm T.J. Hooker."
