What are your *least* favorite Firefly moments?

My least favorite moments are certain moments when Simon is practicing medicine: when he holds a syringe he's about to use on someone in his mouth (!--they do still have to worry about infection in the future) which he did at least twice.
Also, on Ariel, when he's saving that random guy's life, and uses the "cardiac infusers" (which look almost exactly like a defibrillator), he holds the metal, non-insulated part. He should have ended up convulsing on the floor. At least Zoë got it right when she used them to knock out the doctor.
Heh. And yet Ariel is one of my very favorite episodes.

I'd have to say that my least favorite moment would be our introduction to Kaylee. Her having sex with the first Serenity mechanic has always bothered me, he seems like such a "surfer" doof that you'd think, or hope, that Kaylee would have better taste than that. Besides it seems to just cheapen her in my estimation.
The whole thought just makes me shudder.

I'm guessing its a tribute to all those war movies wherein they always do that, and of course the fact that since he is the only trained medic, he often has to work without the spare hands he might be used to.

Yeah, but you can't really theorize anything about a device that doesn't exist. I mean, maybe the part he was holding was imitation metal.

Also, Zoë made very sure she only touched the insulated part. I'm guessing Gina watches more ER than Sean does.
And I loved Kaylee's introduction! It was hilarious. And, really, completely in character. She's obviously boy crazy, and she lives on some backwater prarie moon, and loves ships, dreams about being a ship's mechanic someday. So of course she's going to hang out at the docks, get as many tours of ships as she can, and if she happens to meet a hot mechanic who's nice to her, why not?

That is exactly how I saw HoG. Not sure if HoG was actually inspired by the "Seven Samurai" or the "Magnificent Seven", but it definitely had the feel of those two classics.
I found the chase scene at the end a bit weak at the end and wondered what they could have done differently.

If you want to get annoyingly technical, you only defib a patient in ventricular fibrillation, not a flat-liner.

I think of it like this: Saffron's got Mal's shuttle, and Mal doesn't want her trying to kill him while he's retrieving said shuttle. So he puts her off her guard with a personal question and clocks her to knock her out. It's probably the best thing he could do in the situation.
I actually thnik he clocked her because she was going to LIE again.
Mal seemed to note her pause after is question then - gave her his pistol butt across her temple.
He then said {paraphrased} You would'a only lied."
Mal, throughout the series - seemed to me at least - really HATED liars.
