Ok, i've only recently become a member of the site. So i'm not sure where excatly i'd post this. I love fanficiton, and espcially fanfiction with River in it.I'd write a story myself, but I don't feel i know enough about everything to do her justice. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to write a story for me. preferably with a River/Inara, or River/Kaylie pairing. Those just seem to intrest me more right now.I've got the basic outline of a plot in mind, and if your intrested, post here, and i'll talk more about it.

There was a really cute River/Kaylee pairing I read, but I can't remember who wrote it. I'll try to dig up the link again.

*edit* The story I was thinking of is Jacqui's Adam's Rib. She's a really good writer and has written a couple different pairings and many many stories. Give it a look.

Sorry, I don't have fic recommendations. But I want to encourage you to try writing it yourself. You may be surprised what happens if you keep at it! There's always readers looking for more fic, and friendly constructive criticism if you ask for it.

I've found writing more satisfying than reading, because I really have to get into the details of the story and these characters that we all love so much. It could the same for you. Since you have a start - I say, go for it!!

One more thing - the beauty of fanfic is that it doesn't have to be perfect. It you have fun writing, we'll have fun reading.

well yeah, i'd like to try. but for the plot i have in mind i need BOTH characters to be strongly protrayed.and i'm not sure i can do that. Now, i know i can write amazing story lines, i do so every day, but i always do it with another person.both of us taking a character and having them go through the story.each of us taking on the characters personaility as the story grows.i havn't writen stories by myself to often.But i suppose i can give it a try.so long as people bear with me.and if i do decide to write it myself, i'll need someone to 'beta' for me, i think is the proper term?

There's a thread where people volunteered to be beta readers (yeah, that's the word for it!)
