What are your *least* favorite Firefly moments?

In regards to Tracy: I have little trouble understanding their need for a carrier and the fact that Tracy trusted that he would get his organs back from the people he was smuggling for. The thing I had a problem with (and I'm sure this has been mentioned before. I didn't have time to read all the posts.) was this: didn't the people Tracy was double-crossing have his organs or at least know who did? I mean I'm willing to bet Tracy wasn't keeping 'em in an igloo cooler and toting 'em with him. When he decided to contract with the people that offered a better price wouldn't he be left without organs? That would be bad methinks. Or was he planning on dying anyway, just didn't want to do it without getting that money to his folks?

I believe that my least favorite part of Firefly will be when I finish the last episode of the series. My friend let me borrow the first 3 discs of the series so far and I have never been so annoyed with network executives in all o fmy life! I have to wait until tomorrow to get disc 4.
That's the end of my lame post.

Not really a *least* favorite moment, but one I never quite understood. Maybe I should have started a new thread for this but...
In OIS, when River is walking around and 'Hearing' the thoughts or feelings of others, what do the thoughts of Mal and Inra mean? They are talking about her leaving and she says that she is not getting enough customers, and Mal says not to spread so much, Rivers 'Hears" this:
TIGHT SHOT of Inara and Mal. Silence. INARA is looking right at River. MAL looks off in the distance.
INARA
I'm a big girl. Just tell me.
MAL
None of it means a damn thing.
RIVER reacts, confused and looking dizzy.
Are they talking about each other? If so, what do they mean?

INARA's: Two main theories are that it's either 1) directed at Mal (be honest about your feelings towards me) or 2) a memory of something she once said to a doctor (supporting the theory that Inara is terminally ill)
MALs: General existential angst; symbol of his loss of hope/faith after the Battle of Serenity Valley. (or perhaps cynical commentary on the gorram Fox network who cancelled our show just to replace it with reality television garbage?)
RIVER
Purple elephants are flying.
MAL
Good. Thanks for the update.

The choice wasn't Mal's to make. There was a plan; many people were involved. Mal taking a measly reward would have been very much like Jack and the Beanstalk.
WildHeavenFarm, you also say "likely to blow up" when they were also so close to the pay-off. If you're thinking about failure, you'll fail. Just my thoughts.

New theory 1.5 - they are directing their comments at each other, but can't say what they mean to each other, hence neither looking at the other when they speak.
In Inara's case - "you just slept with my best friend from bordello school (why the heck has the Gattaca score just thrown in the motif from Wrath of Khan? Sorry, stream of conciousness posting), is there anything going to happen between us or are we just dancing around?"
Mal - None of what we have been through means a thing; I've literally died for you, and you are running off because feelings scare you.
My 1.57 penneth to the 2c

So much to comment on but I'll try to be brief--
I've seen the statements here and there about Inara's client's comment about speeding up time. My understanding was that he didn't literally time but that she had rigged her hourglass so that it gave the impression that more time had passed than had actually done so. I thought that was pretty savvy since that's a common accusation in the sex industry.
Lot's of people don't seem to like "Heart of Gold" but I saw it as the "Seven Samurai"/"Magnificent Seven" episode. Don't ya think? (Though I must say that chase scene at the end was the only thing I found lame in all of the eps.)
Lastly, I wanted to comment on Early's threat to Kaylee. I was really, really bothered by it the first time I saw it. Though I was no less bothered on subsequent viewings I was prepared and I realized that I think it serves something of a useful purpose. Here's why: Kaylee's designed to give us some emotional center, when she is happy it makes us happy, when she is upset or scared we feel it right along with her. If this had actually been a rape scene I would feel differently but I think this is a very good depiction of just how terrifying, debilitating, overpowering and aggressive the threat of rape can be. The actress played it exceptionally well and I think it really brings it home for people who might otherwise make light of the concepts of rape.

My least favorite scene(s) in the show was the running battle from Serenity to Niska's office in "War Stories". Overall, that is one of my favorite episodes, but it always annoys me greatly that Zoe, a supposed combat veteran, has no idea how to hold a weapon. Everyone else is spot on with their acting. Jayne and Book do a nice job of moving and handling their firearms, Simon looks a little unsure but trying to do his best, and Kaylee panics. Great job from all of them. Zoe... Doesn't. As mentioned earlier, the whole sommersault thing was just bad. Very bad. I just find it strange that there was apparently no one on the cast or directing staff that could or would give her a few pointers.
