The wild and wacky adventures of BB and SK at Supanova!!

Here are the two intrepid adventurers, BernardBrowncoat and ShinyKitten!
(supanova is pretty much the only decent scifi convention Oz has)
BB was steppin' out as Jayne and i was just myself, in my favourite coat...
we went out to homebush early in the morning and embarked on our quest to buy as much stuff as we could and to see Summer Glau!!YAY!!
She did a GREAT q&a session, where she managed to incorporate a funny or touching personal story into each of her answers. She talked for the whole time and was really funny and open. (the pictures aren't that great, but it was really hard to get a good one!)
we trekked around the site and EVERYONE acknowledged the greatness of BB jayne hat! one of the 501st Battalion (the really hardcore star wars guys) liked BB costume so much that he got a picture with him!
we got some photos and stuff signed by Summer, she seemed to be overwhelmed at the number of people there to see her.
it was a really most excellent day...cant wait till next year!

yep, much with the rock'n. great to see so many shiny sci-fi fans decked out to the occasion, showing us that star wars does indeed live in Australia. SO many stormtroopers, jedi, sith, more troopers, more sith...

ran into kaylee, and another i-may-be jayne, but my hat was better, it had flaps! & they went wild in the wind! other people i spoke to included a blues brother, batman, indy, and the joker. oh! and zombies!!! but never fear, me & vera took care of 'em

was starting to think no-one cared about us...
yup, my jacket totally rocks, i got it last time i was in Italy. i only ever buy leather when i'm in Florence, i ended up getting 3 jackets (1 black and 2 brown)i couldn't pick between this one and another brown one, so i got them both, but that's my favourite! it's REALLY soft and warm.
