Oh man, you're killing me with all this talk. My home-made FF CD hasn't left my car's stereo since I made it.

I've been listening the Ballad of Serenity on repeat for the last month or so. What other songs do you have on your CD?

I remember drooling over the thought of that CD myself, when you first posted that you made it.

How did you record the music from the DVD? Maybe I can try to make one myself.

You would think with all the DVD sales a soundtrack might be worth Fox's time ... perhaps a limited run at first .. I know it costs bucks to make the CDs, etc.

I used pcm output in mplayer (a multimedia player designed for Unix, but I believe there's a Windows version. http://mplayerhq.hu It's sort of tricky to install though.)

Searching for "dvd audio ripper" on google should give you programs for Windows/Mac. I don't have any experience with them though.

My e-mail is in!!

I also have a radio show here in Pittsburgh and would love to incorporate music from Firefly into the show.

I have no idea how to lift audio from DVDs and would appreciate any help that could be given. And how would you eliminate the dialogue???
