Since this is fantasy, I picked a fantasy cast without regard to current age or plane of existence. Assume these folks were available at the appropriate ages.

Geezer, that was pretty cool. Why didn't I think of that? I stuck with how I'd cast them today. It was pretty fun.
Okay, I have to edit this. My choices weren't quite right. Chow Yun Fat isn't young enough to play Simon, but he MUST be in my film! lol.

I'm still not happy with my choice of Zoe, but I like this River choice much better. I still like the idea of an older woman paired with a much younger man. You so rarely see that in the movies.
