I have my TiVO set to record stuff with my favorite actors/actresses...it was wrong the other night when it recorded an episode of 'Supernatural' that Summer wasn't on so I'm glad that she's in this one...I'll watch it when I get home. Please tell me she doesn't play another crazy person...she's too good to get typecast forever!

So far it's everyone BUT her character who seems to be crazy.

Not too bad. Although I did spot a film flub. During Summer's initiation she didn't have a cut on her neck from the knife. And I did notice a River moment as well. When she bends over to get the knife from the floor they show her bare feet.

Everybody always has the advantage over us, but that's what makes us special...and Browncoats.

Wow, it was... uh... interesting.

Bad writing (in my opinion) aside, Summer did her thing!

I have to agree; despite the movie itself, Summer actually didn't suck. A few of the other actors held themselves equally well against the shitty script.

All in all, I was impressed. She was believable. (I caught some of her guest spots on The Unit and was disappointed in everything about that show, so it was a relief to see her successful in this).

I did think it was funny that they went out of their way to continually describe her character as "someone so unable to defend herself," knowing that anyone who knows who she is can see her kicking Reaver ass clearly in their mind's eye.

Don't make faces.

I know. My favorite part, though, was toward the end, when she said:

(holding up her hand, which has a fresh cut on it) "I took her advice."

It was very cool, and very River-like, I thought.

Oh definitely, I'd forgotten how matter-of-factly she pulled that off. DEFINITELY channeling River, and why not? I'd like to channel her all the time.

Eh, the movie wasn't a terrible waste of time, but it was worth seeing Summer in it. And she wasn't playing crazy! I thought the movie had some great funny parts, so that's always a plus. (lol, socks) Not too shabby, though. Good little twist at the end.

Can't wait to see what she's in next!
