Weather report for Maryland.
No surprise, its raining here, too.
* I just posted a new thread, for anyone who is a visitor over at whedonesque.com - they will be open for registration "around Christmas." They haven't been open since April.

Be a nice pretty and gather me kin along with ye. They're in Donnegal. Although my Goddaughter's in London now with her hub and kid, and her brother's an eternal student at Edinborough, my favorite cousin and her man still keep the homefires burnin'.
Quick story, then. My cousin (Germanish like me) married the Irishman and moved there. My cousin's father (my great uncle, German enough to make ChrisMoorhead quake) visited there a few times. But it only took the first visit for him to decide where he would want to have his ashes spread when the time came, so enraptured was he. And so it came to pass. I envy him to this day; I've yet to visit that most magical of all earthly kingdoms. *wistfully sighs*
"Well, here I am."

Okay, you do know that nobody here actually talks like that... right?
But yes, Ireland is a great place to visit! And we're nice and small, so everything is just a drive away

Yeah, I'm up on the Modern non-stereo-typical Irish. The Scots on the other hand, I have to really pay attention to. And even then I never sure if they're really speaking Gaelic and I'm just nodding to keep from looking stoopid.
My cousin's brother--obviously also my cousin, but I wanted to disambiguate--was almost a professional photographer by trade, and could still give Ansel Adams a run for his money, and he took the most incredible pictures there. Craggy, moss-covered cliffs, but not too tall, overlooking the sea. Breathtaking. I have a picture of it in my mind's eye. Mist and wind. Better stop. Becoming misty myself.

In the Black...no, wait. This is Michigan.
It's only 2pm here. Enjoying a late lunch of General Tso Chicken. At least I think it's chicken. Tastes like chicken...
EDIT:Oh, no! I just realized that I heartlessly hijacked dearest MsG's latest ponder!

Please refer to my post about the song running thru my head for the answer to that. And let's get back on topic!
EDIT "EDIT": Yes is it, SBDB. Over here in the States anyway. In fact I used an empty one over at Kelkhil's to collect money and tips just yesterday...

Wow, Tristan. A date already? By that sentence you can kind of tell that I think it's a little fast, but who am I to say? I'll just say have fun and take it slow. How's that?
DTH: I love thunder. and lightning. Interestingly enough, Match.com has a thunder in the list of "turn ons" along with dancing, flirting, erotica, power, etc. So it's not all that uncommon to be turned on my thunder.

Bowling is always a good casual date.
The stinky shoes.
The gutter balls.
Watching people in the next lane taking it oh so seriously.
F-U-N!
