Hello, fellow Browncoats! :)

lt.aspx">The Big Damned Flanvention II, which is being held in Burbank, California Dec. 8-10. I came across this yesterday, and I nearly fell out of my chair. 'Surely not!' I said to myself. 'A convention that is reletively-close-to-where-I-live-for-a-reasonable-price-with-a-limited-attendance-and-a-nearly-ALL-STAR-GUEST-LIST?!?!' (needless to say, I was grinning from ear to ear...and out of breath 
).
I was on cloud nine, with my Credit Card at the ready! Weekend pass, Photo Op. with Nathan and Adam....
And then the sad, sad reality of the situation hit me. 
I live in Portland, Oregon.
I have no car.
And my fellow Browncoat buddies are a little short on change, as it were. :/
This, as you may have guessed, hinders my plans a bit.
And you all seemed like the right people to turn to.
So here's the deal. I can't afford to fly, or take a greyhound on top of the cost of the weekend expenses. I need ANYONE in, or near the Portland area who will also be attending this shindig, who is willing to give this stranded Browncoat a lift.
$$$There will be payment$$$...of a sorts.
Though the event is being held at the Hilton, I'm sure the rooms aren't cheap. :/ In Pamona, which is about 40 miles out of Burbank, there is a Shilo Inns Hotel. I happen to be employed with Shilo Inns, and can get an employee discount. Even then, if you are willing to give me a lift, and willing to drive a little further at the end of the day to get some rest, I will pay for the room, and even give you the bed. I have no problem sleeping on the floor. :)
Also, I will be more than happy to pitch in for gas, there and back.
Please, please, PLEASE! If there is anyone out there who can make this happen, or if you know of anyone who can, let me know ASAP. I missed the last chance to see these guys a few years ago. I don't want a repeat. :(
