Just thought I would post a Holloweeny video for our Forsakeny delight.
Wow must be some kind of record for the use of a "y" at the end of a word.

Hello, my Forsaken family. Despite my disdain for s'mores, (go figure: I like marshmallows, I like chocolate, I really like graham crackers; the combo, eh...) I find myself drawn to the thread. As if I had no will of my own.
Had our first snow today with bitter Arctic wind--thanks a frackin' bunch, Canada--pushing it along. No sticky. We, too, snicker at the Southerners what come to a standstill over the sight of it.
I personally recognize only three (count 'em: 3) holidays. All Hallow's E'en, All Fool's Day, and Friday the Thirteenth. The rest are all pretenders. Okay 4, Mardi Gras. But I've never been to New Orleans and I wonder if I'll ever have a chance to see it in all its glory.
So, 48 Hours minus a minute sounds about right to me to make this a truly international event.
"Well, here I am."

We're awaiting our first flurries tonight or tomorrow.
I've lived in Georgia and Virginia. While it may be amusing to watch as people panic if a snowflake hits their windshield, it is not amusing to be out on the road while people who have no idea how to drive in snow attempt it for the first time.
It is scary.
I did love being able to sweep my walk and clear it of frozen white stuff.
I'm used to shovelling myself out of knee deep or higher. You want snow, we got snow. We'll send you some.
We went to Houston TX to visit my mother in law two years ago at Christmas. It was in the 80s. We wound up watching TV coverage of children on the beach at Galveston making snowmen. It had all melted by the next day. We are net exporters of snow and cold.
We get Lake Effect off Ontario here. I call it "Canadian Leftovers". The Arctic wind blows across Canada, hits the lake, and we get whatever's left over.
Okay, now I'm cold. Pass the s'mores please. Just one before I go to bed.

Just dropping in to say, "Hello, everybody!"
Oh, and I might have a hug, too... or not. Guess this'll have to do:

Nope, PR's just a night shift worker, but you already knew that...didn't you?
Anyway, just thought it was about time I chimed in. Also, I brought more s'mores material as well as coffees, teas, sodas and 'Verse-y drinks for those that want 'em!

Okay, I'm up! I did sleep pretty late, so it might be getting well into the day for our dear Aussies. Sorry! Creating new thread, though (even though this one is only half-length. Permaybehaps we'll need to come back to it in a few days...)
Here it is: http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=11&t=24612

Yeah, it's about 3.45pm where I am (add 30 minutes for magda's timezone). I suppose I might have started the thread just after midnight, but I chose to sleep for once.

If you find yourself getting too worked up about stuff that isn't real (RP Threads etc), then go outside, breathe in some fresh air and try feeding the ducks. (Because ducks don't care about your politics, religion, skin colour, choice of music or even your haircut. They like everyone, provided you bring them food.)

Well, since the 13th is over, I guess we're back to filling out this thread.
How is everybody today?
