Feel a little sorry for JA, cause she sounds awsome and like she really deserves to win, but its her or firefly, so firefly will win every day. :) I hope Summer comes in first and she comes in secound. :)

Gorram! that was ruttin tough.. So many are on my prefered companion list.. Was almost as hard as Jayne walking down the street and NOT picking up a stray platinum someone dropped.

We've a slight situation here though folks...

I noticed her name in the list several times all spelled differently... and therefore the seperate spellings aren't counting towards our dear Summer's total.

This is case sensitive. Most are spelling it..

(this is the version that accumulates votes for her)

If you spell it differently, all caps in the first name or last name, alternating between caps and no caps etc... will NOT work, it will simply add a new listing..

So heads up gang..

No? Well the tally thing can so if you've not voted yet (what are the odds?) you'd do well to make sure you don't put in any extra spaces.

Anyway, since some people are complaining about the votes we already lost due to different ways of putting in the name (instead of just suggesting we don't do it anymore) here's an analysis of that:

There are currently 11773 votes

The following are for Summer:

Obviously there's no way to know how much all of the 0% votes would add up to, they could be one vote each (which seems likely) or they could be several that together might add up to a significant, if small, percent. (I just checked, there is a way to find out, I'm not gonna do it though.)

Still if we were to add up the three that do appear on the board we only get 1.2 + 0.2 + 0.1 more. 1.5 percent of the vote might be more than a lot of people have, but it wouldn't be enough for us to take first or any such thing.

For example
Sarah Michelle Gellar has about 2265 votes
Jennifer Garner has about 1968 votes
Summer Glau has about 1202 votes

So we need (about)
1064 to take first
767 to take second

If we tally up every single one, even the appropriate values of the ones at 0% which I said I wouldn't do, Summer has about 1402 votes

Thus we would need
864 to take first and
567 to take second

Of course in a world where we put all of our votes together others might do the same.

(It should be noted that the ones listed as 0% collectively add up to about 23 votes or about 0.195% of the vote)
