yay for the new thread, only delayed a bit by the site goingdown last night.

*Grumbling at firefox for presenting the "your browser has been updated to be more secure" page.*

Which just also happens to inolve wiping all bookmarks, cache and the like, and THAT means all pictures will be loading as though for the first time.

*cue three hour loading time for the photo threads*

Us amateurs have some questions that require your expertise. Namely, what effect is had on star-signs and the whole pagan calender by being in the southern hemisphere.

After all, if what is currently known as Christmas was stolen from the festival of the winter solstice, is there much point celebrating it in december for those of us down under. Since our winter solstice is in June, do we shift the whole calender by 6 months? or is it more complex than that?
