Aww hell, I'm a big fan of all seven.

I prefer lust, myself. Aargghh ... why must we perpetually suffer the torments of unattainable longing? It's enough to make a guy join a Buddhist monastery and spend the rest of his days meditating on the renunciation of desire.

It's okay to leave them to die.

IMHO, she looks hottest in the TV series and without the damn makeup.

The only reason the monks don't spend their days the same way we spend ours is that they don't have accesss to outside media. It's a temple full of guys that sit and meditate. Or move while meditating. Not too many distractions there.
Besides, the day men stop finding women to be almost totally irresistable marks the beginning of the end of the human race. We're wired way deep down to find each other attractive. It's what makes us (humans) such evolutionary badasses.

I have to disagree. In the TV series she always looked sick, and in need of a shampoo.
I much prefer the way she looks in the picture posted by Razputin...

Oh good, I am relieved to know that my sufferings are for the good of the species (though we hardly stand out in that respect).

And let's not see this thread deteriorate into a Summer (+makeup +airbrush) vs. Summer (+casual) vs. Summer (+grunged out) argument. The whole point of her amazingness is that she can do it all!!

It's okay to leave them to die.

When Firefly was on , I never could quite fall in love with River , although she was attractive in her natural state . I do admit to loving the stringy hair and Summer's characterization of River , because that was part of depicting her as unstable . Brilliant work by Summer , who is a natural acting talent in addition to being a " creature of extraordinary grace " . I totally believed the characterization of River as an underage female ; figured she must be only 18 at most . I asked my early-teen nephew his opinion about who was the most-digable female of the 'Verse . He didn't know my views at all then , but he chose the same way I did : That Kaylee was the essence of cute-lovable-hawtness .

But since the release of Serenity , my view of River has changed . Since she said , " I'm all right " , and seems to be much more well , and probably 18 , and can also fly the ship , I'm totally into her . And Summer , for that matter . Double Heartbreak .

Kaylee will always be my 'first love' in the 'Verse . But seeing those pics of Summer may cause River to invade my dreams .

Whoa Howdy !

Summer Glau HOT

Well, being a warm-blooded mammal does that to people...

Now me, I agree with whoever said that the word hot doesn't do her justice (plus, I personally see it as somewhat derogatory - I can't respect someone enough, or be honest enough, or use my brain to dig up "Wow, she's beautiful!" which I think has more of an impact anyway, and better conveys the idea. Wow, this is a really long parenthetical tangent/note...); and, I like my BDH's all-natural (not like that!). I understand that on television, with all the lights, that they have to have make-up because otherwise they don't quite look right (and my favorite shot of Kaylee is when she's cleary powdered and glossed), but they're too attractive to need it any other time.

I apologize if that's hard to read through, with all the parenthetical notes.
