QMX props buddy system thread

Hi all,

You have probably heard that QMX, the prop company, is finally accepting pre-orders for officially licensed (!) Serenity swag, specifically bank heist money and Mal's gun.

It looks like their Web site only does orders for the US and Canada.

I wanted to start a thread for people in the rest of the world to find people in the US who might be willing to buddy up and order things for our overseas friends.

QMX only allows you to buy one or two of any given item, so this would be a one-on-one sort of thing. I have already buddied up with a friend from the UK, so I can't participate.

Also, as this is a clearinghouse, I'm not claiming to make any guarantees as to payment and such. Everybody has to work that out among themselves.

But I think a buddy system, in principle, is a great idea.

Hi Y'all,

It's Andy from QMx (Quantum Mechanix). First, I want to say thanks to everyone who's placed an order for our Serenity props. The response has been overwhelming and we really appreciate all the support we've gotten from the Browncoat community -- you guys are the best!

Now, about International orders: Although the international shipping rates are not posted on the website yet, they will be within a few days. Anyone who places an Int'l order now will be notified in advance of order processing what the international shipment fees will be, and will have the opportunity to either cancel or accept your order.

Thanks for your understanding. We are working hard to correct this as soon as possible.

We are really looking forward to the new Mal Pistol and Alliance Currency Money Packs coming in stock soon.
