Yeah, I knew I'd get some of those replies
I'm just saying, I'm sure that there are far fewer female StarTrek fans than Firefly fans. For instance, my little sister, who loathes sci-fi of any type, enjoys the show. Firefly has a wider appeal, partly because of the mixed genres - scifi, western, action, comedy - but as with all Whedon shows, it is really a drama at heart.

In one of those special feature things, Joss said his goal was to "create a world where the past and the future colide to form the present" or something. That was his goal. It seems to have worked
"Oh my god it's grotesqe! and here's a thing in a jar."

Chopsticks are absolutely no good on plates. Forks are much better to poke at bits of meat on a plate and a spoon would be much better to shovel up rice from a plate.
Chopsticks work well enough on plates. Plates can be dealt with. I have been using a fork for 47 years and chopsticks for 43. All it takes is practice. My problem is things fall [b\]off of forks. At least with the sticks I have somewhat of a grip. Course I wear a fair bit of soy sauce on my shirt

And that Uncle Ben's rice drives me bananas. While I am at it, stop pouring Soy Sauce (Shoyu) or any kind of condiment on your rice (unless if you are from Hawaii). It's not mash potatoes. Ugh.
To each his own, I like Duc sauce personally. But I live under the handicap of not posessing much of an actual sense of taste. Unless it is Jasmine rice (or a similar strong equivlent) I can't taste it at all anyway without some help.

Like your .sig... is it 'The Tick' ?
Thanks! No, my quote from 'The Tick' is "Spoon!". Actually that one belongs to me. It came from a RPG character of mine who has a serious vigilante complex. At 4:00 in the morning, you never know what is going to come out of your mouth. That one was so good I kept it.
