I just tried the firefly mod with the demo.. it works! can't control the ship from the cockpit view but everythin' else seems fine. hacked it to be available at lvl 1 and flyin' firefly now. thx for the great mod!
btw, the ship is slightly off scale but not by much. very nice to have some guns on it. though I wish the game wasn't so much combat oriented :/

For those of you who like Freelancer (I think there is a few lol) the easyist way to make money (if you don't mind smuggling....heh) there is a secret jumphole to sigma-13 in the New Berlin system. First buy engine parts from New Berlin. Launch from New Berlin and turn left and use the trade lane that goes through the astroid field. count three rings into the astroid field then exit the trade lane. turn right and you should see a unmarked Jumphole to Sigma-13. in Sigma-13 there is a station named Yanagi (north of the jumphole exit). Sell your engine components there and buy up the drug Cardimine and bring it back to New Berlin. Rinse and repeat. Doing this will get you about 420,000 credits before repairs (depending on the type of ship you have) have fun and enjoy the Firefly!

I have an athlon processor and an ATI grapics card. My computer has 999 MHZ. It couldn't play Starwars, Kinghts of the Old Republic 2

I'm waiting for my Freelancer CD in the mail, but
I've been playing the demo for about a month now.
I haven't even tried your mod yet, but no need to,
if it's Firefly related, it's alright with me. :-)

Nothing new to add as of yet. We've had a couple of major set backs, but now we seem to be back on track.

also, from what i here, the FF freighter i released last december, should work in the demo no problems.

So you can play with that untill we finish the total conversion.
